Kawai CA48 has Bluetooth connectivity function in addition to physical audio and MIDI cables. With a smart device, you can change the setting of your piano easily, and also enjoy many other features.
Kawai CA48 Grand Feel Compact Action
Kawai CA48 has Grand Feel Compact Action (Wooden-key) which is smaller than the original Grand Feel action but still stimulates the same feeling. CA48 has Ivory Touch surfaces which absorbs moisture from fingertips, giving better control over playing the piano.
LET OFF (ESCAPEMENT)
*Escapement –the mechanism that allows the hammer to clear the stringafter striking, so that the stringcan vibrate (TheFreeDictionary). Player can feel tactile feeling of notch when presses a key.
Hammers of grand piano positioned horizontally therefore get affected by gravity directly, which enables faster key recovery. Hammers of upright piano are positioned vertically with springs (jack).

Kawai Virtual Technician
Kawai’s IOS app “Virtual Technician” allows players to connect their apple device to their piano and control parameters and settings more conveniently.
With the Virtual Techinician app, you can even change a small detail of the piano such as damper noise and hammer delay. Customize your CA48 to your own favorite piano.
